How To Submit You Product to a
Joint Venture Giveaway
In practically every joint venture I have been involved in, they use
basically the same type of script. There may be some deviation from
this, but for the most part, they are basically the same.
To make this process as easy and time efficient as possible, I
recommend that you have these items completed before you actually begin
this process. I have found that by having all the necessary information
typed on word-
pad.you have it all there in one place, and if any changes or
corrections are needed, it is much easier to have it right there.
After logging in to your account, click on the JV Partner's Area link,
then on the ‘Manage Your Gifts' link:
1. Enter the title of your gift
2. Enter the URL of your image
Most scripts call for you to give a location of your image from your
website, however, there are some that want you to upload it from your
hard drive from your computer. If this is the case, all you need to do
is click the search key and find the desired image.
Another thing to remember is that in most cases, your image size will
need to be around 150X150 pixels to show correctly. If the image you
are using is too large, you can resize it by using a free tool called
Irfanview, or you can use any other tool you have to do this.
You can get Irfanveiw free here
Your image is very important. Without an image, chances are
you
will not get any requests for your product! It doesn't matter if you
were giving away the farm, without that image to draw attention, you
will not do well.
3. Enter a brief description -
It may be helpful to think of this as a headline, use this to catch the
visitor's attention.
Try to keep this about 40-50 characters
4. Describe your gift
Now you can go into more detail about your product. Usually you
need to keep this to around 250 characters.
5. Delivery
With the majority of scripts there are two delivery options. You can
choose between Option A or Option B, don't forget to check the
radio button next to your choice.
Enter the URL to your lead capture page, again, this is a page on your
website with your gift details and your autoresponder form.
I have found using Option A easier and have used it in every venture
that I've been involved in
.
Here's how it works, Whatever autoresponder you are sending your
customer to, make a copy of the form. Make sure that this form works by
testing it prior to submitting it, and put this in your wordpad
document so you can go right to it. All you need to do is copy and
paste it from there and that part is completed.
Don't freak out here, it's html code but all you have to do is copy and
paste this form code into the field and that's it! If you are dealing
with this type of delivery script, there will be a radio button near
the option selection, be sure that you check the button that you want
to use, or you will lose all your information when you click the submit
button!
If that happens, you will have to go through the entire process again.
Now you just need to hit the submit or save button and the hard part is
done! You should receive confirmation from the jv notifying you that
your submission has been accepted, usually within 24 hrs.
